Has anyone ever actually been inside a wax museum
I feel like they're a sort of mysterious place where everyone's like "oh yeah I totally know what that is" but no one has ever actually seen one
The only time I'm ever reminded of the "existence" of wax museums is either that one Gravity Falls episode or the coupons on cereal boxes
I hereby declare wax museums as a whole a cryptid
@kioskwitch only in a mystery game I played as a kid
@kioskwitch eagle eyes mysteries, probably doesn't hold up
@SanfordianPhil that doesnt quite count
@kioskwitch definitely not. But I've never been close to one in real life (or maybe there is one in DC but that wasn't on the very tightly controlled agenda of the school trip)
@SanfordianPhil aw dang
yeah never been they sound weird
@SeanAloysiusOBrien yeah even if they existed it doesn't sound like it'd be fun for more than like 5 minutes
oh no I mean I've seen the museums from the outside so I vaguely know they exist
@SeanAloysiusOBrien just because a building has "wac museum" written on a sign out front doesnt mean that's whats inside
they could all be fronts for the cia
@SeanAloysiusOBrien yeah there's no way they're not a front for something
@kioskwitch I went to a traveling Madame Tussaud's exhibit in San Francisco when I was 6 or 7. The only one I remember was Michael Jackson.
@dreadfulsorry ooh cool!
@kioskwitch That wasn't like, in a dedicated wax museum, though, so I don't know if it counts.
@dreadfulsorry I would say it does count
@kioskwitch They have a legit SF location now and now I want to go there.
