so my wife went to the new college of florida which is a white hippie dippie liberal arts college here and they never fucking wear shoes and there was this campus discourse about how people need to stop breaking bottles on the concrete because they've stepped in glass and i told my wife (we weren't married then) that "if only there was some invention to prevent feet from glass and other dangerous things on the ground"
